Shed Control

Hair everywhere in your house? Tired of constantly sweeping, vacuuming, and lint rolling? We have groomers that specialize in shed control and all of our services for both dogs and cats include the shed control treatment on breeds that require it!

HOW IT WORKS

1. First we bathe your pet with a specialized de-shedding shampoo and conditioner to help reduce release some of the dead hair.
2. Once your pet is bathed, we use a high-velocity dryer to further loosen and remove dead hair.
3. Then we brush out the coat with specialized deshedding tools to remove even more dead hair and undercoat from your pets coat.

ONE AND DONE? -NO

To get your pet’s shedding under control the best thing to do is get them on a regular grooming schedule, typically every 4-6 weeks. This will give you the best results as most hair cycles are between 4 and 6 weeks. Once their hair is fully grown, the follicle releases the hair (i.e. shedding), in order to start the cycle over and grow another hair. Getting your dog or cat groomed at the same cycle of the hair means that we get those dead hairs out before they end up all over your house or creating mats in the coat that can cause pain and may have to be shaved out. Will it stop the shedding? No, nothing will stop a coat that naturally sheds from shedding but it will greatly reduce the amount of times you have to vacuum your house in a day and it is included in our services!
